Isolated thunderstorms are expected late this afternoon and evening. Brief heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and gusty winds will be the primary hazards. Outside of cooling rains, it will be hot. Peak heat index values through early evening will be around 100 degrees along and west of I-65. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday. A line of strong to possibly severe storms may move into southern Indiana during the late afternoon tomorrow, and subsequently affect central Kentucky during the evening hours. The storms are expected to weaken as they push into Kentucky. The main threats with storms will be damaging wind gusts and large hail in more discrete storms. Better coverage of thunderstorms is expected Wednesday night into Thursday. Slow moving storms could produce heavy rainfall, which could result in localized flooding. Outside of these cooling rains, it will be hot during peak heating Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Look for peak heat indices generally around 100 degrees, possibly approaching 105 in the Louisville and Bowling Green metro areas. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
