...Wet & Windy End Of The Week...

As of late afternoon, radar shows showers progressing across Western Kentucky, while the rest of the state remains dry. Temperatures has risen into the 70s and 80s across the eastern half of KY, even hitting 87 in Lawrence County according to the Kentucky Mesonet.

A Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for much of Western Kentucky with more rain on the way. In fact, the showers mentioned above will intensify and move east overnight. Activity continues through Friday and into Saturday. 1 to 2+ inches is still forecast for portions of Western/Central Kentucky and extending northeast into the Bluegrass. The good news is that Sunday will be dry and warmer.
