Temperatures for the period averaged 70 degrees across the state which was 1 degrees cooler than normal
and 8 degrees warmer than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 80 in the West to 79
in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 3 degrees cooler than normal in the West
to 2 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 63 degrees in the West
to 59 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 91 degrees at FORT CAMPBELL and the extreme low was 32 degrees at CARBONDALE ASOS.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 4.56 inches statewide which was 1.3 inches above normal
and 140% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 4.74 inches, Central 4.51 inches,
Bluegrass 4.70 inches and East 4.31 inches, which was 1.6, 1.15, 1.43 and 1.04 inches above normal.
By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 1.99 inches at CINCINNATI to a high of 7.41
inches at OWINGSVILLE 4S.
