Across Georgia...temperatures are near 63 degrees north, near 58 degrees central, and near 63 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy north, mostly cloudy central, and mostly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 78%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 90%, and the dew point is near 60 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 3 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 6 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 66 degrees at Saint Simons.  DAY ONE  Today and Tonight  

Isolated thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon and evening
across portions of north Georgia. A few storms may be capable of
an isolated damaging wind gust in far NW GA, where a Marginal Risk
of severe thunderstorms (Level 1 out of 5) is in effect.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Tuesday through Sunday  

Isolated thunderstorms are forecast for Tuesday through Saturday 
across portions of north and central Georgia, with highest chances
across north Georgia. Widespread severe storms are not expected 
at this time.

 SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT  

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.

HISTORIC WEATHER EVENTS

Portions of Montana were in the midst of a spring snowburst. Snowfall
amounts ranged up to 55 inches at Red Lodge, 61 inches at Nye Mine, and 72
inches at Mystic Lake. (David Ludlum)

Severe thunderstorms spawned 48 tornadoes in the Upper Midwest. Hardest hit
was northern Illinois where sixteen tornadoes touched down during the
afternoon and evening hours causing fifty million dollars damage. On that
Friday afternoon tornadoes struck Belvidere IL, and the Chicago suburb of
