Current sky conditions are fair north, fair central, and mostly cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 90%, and the dew point is near 64 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 63 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 90%, and the dew point is near 72 degrees. The livestock heat stress category is no stress north, no stress central, and no stress south. There is patchy fog north and central. Winds are from the west at 5 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Current Wind Chill MapHazardous Weather Outlook For DODGE County,GA 448 AM EDT Sun May 18 2025 DAY ONE Today and TonightA Dense Fog Advisory is in effect in portions of west Georgia until 10 AM this morning. Low visibility of one-quarter of a mile or less could make driving conditions hazardous. A cluster of thunderstorms is likely to move across central and portions of north Georgia today. A few storms within this cluster may be strong to severe, capable of producing damaging wind gusts, frequent lightning, and locally heavy rain. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Monday through Saturday Periods of thunderstorms are expected between Monday and Wednesday, with the greatest storm coverage anticipated across north Georgia. A few storms could be strong to severe during the daytime on Monday and Tuesday. The main hazards will be strong winds and some hail. SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT Spotter activation is not requested but spotters are encouraged to submit reports of severe weather through the web by going to weather.gov/atlanta.
