Temperatures for the period averaged 64.1 degrees across the state which was 2.7 degrees warmer than normal and 7.6 degrees warmer than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 75.6 in the West to 72.8 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 0.7 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 0.9 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 67.8 degrees in the West to 52.1 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 16.1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 6.1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 89.1 degrees at Harlan county and the extreme low was 26.6 degrees at Harlan county.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 5.38 inches statewide which was 0.72 inches above normal and 115.5% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 7.22 inches, Central 6.31 inches, Bluegrass 3.97 inches and East 4.02 inches, which was 2.16, 1.48, -0.36 and -0.39 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 2.63 inches at Madison county to a high of 11.44 inches at Trigg county. Dewpoint temperatures for the state averaged near 54.9 degrees.
