Temperatures for the period averaged 68.6 degrees across the state which was 3.3 degrees warmer than normal and 3.4 degrees warmer than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 80.1 in the West to 75.0 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1.5 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 2.1 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 74.0 degrees in the West to 58.8 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 18.2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 8.2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 87.8 degrees at Warren county and the extreme low was 55.2 degrees at Meade county.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 0.38 inches statewide which was 0.1 inches below normal and 78.8% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 0.49 inches, Central 0.26 inches, Bluegrass 0.31 inches and East 0.46 inches, which was 0.01, -0.25, -0.15 and -0.02 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 0.02 inches at Metcalfe county to a high of 1.90 inches at Trigg county. Dewpoint temperatures for the state averaged near 62.6 degrees.
