Temperatures for the period averaged 53.1 degrees across the state which was 4.9 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 65.1 in the West to 62.9 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 4.1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 2.7 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 53.3 degrees in the West to 41.1 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 14.3 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 6.6 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 89.1 at Harlan county and the extreme low was -13.5 at Pulaski county.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 17.20 inches statewide which was 0.32 inches above normal and 101.9% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 16.95 inches, Central 18.60 inches, Bluegrass 16.81 inches and East 16.45 inches, which was -1.48, 0.85, 1.61 and 0.31 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 14.07 inches at Crittenden county to a high of 21.58 inches at Grayson county. Dewpoint temperatures for the state averaged near 42.9 degrees.
