Temperatures for the period averaged 64 degrees across the state which was 2 degrees warmer than normal and 8 degrees warmer than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 75 in the West to 74 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 57 degrees in the West to 54 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 5 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 6 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 91 degrees at PEABODY and the extreme low was 28 degrees at BRANDENBURG 4SW.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 5.60 inches statewide which was 0.39 inches above normal and 107% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 7.48 inches, Central 6.70 inches, Bluegrass 4.19 inches and East 4.03 inches, which was 1.97, 1.22, -0.90 and -0.73 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 1.91 inches at MT STERLING AWOS to a high of 10.90 inches at HENDERSON 5E.
