A very narrow band of anthropogenic enhanced snow has been falling
across Eau Clarie County for much of the day. Additional snow
associated with a weak disturbance moving into the area from
Minnesota has lead to significant visibility reductions and snow
covered roads. WisDOT traffic cameras show the worst conditions
exist on the south side of Eau Claire. This snow is expected to
continue through mid afternoon with around an inch of additional
accumulation possible. 

Drivers are encouraged to slow down and allow extra time while
traveling this afternoon. Check 511wi.gov for the latest road 
conditions.
