...HIGH SURF ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM CHST
THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Large breaking waves of 8 to 10 feet.

* WHERE...North facing reefs of Pohnpei and Kosrae.

* WHEN...From 3 AM Tuesday to 3 AM ChST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Dangerous swimming and surfing conditions and
  localized beach erosion.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Another pulse of long-period northerly swell
  will arrive today and is expected to quickly increase surf to
  hazardous levels along north facing reefs. Surf will decrease back
  down to 5 to 8 feet late this week as north swell subsides.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Inexperienced swimmers should remain out of the water due to
dangerous surf conditions.
