* Flash Flood Warning for...
  Eastern Limestone County in north central Alabama...
  Madison County in north central Alabama...
  Morgan County in north central Alabama...
  DeKalb County in northeastern Alabama...
  Jackson County in northeastern Alabama...
  Northern Marshall County in northeastern Alabama...
  Southeastern Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama...

* Until midnight CST tonight.

* At 1010 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing 
  heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2.5 inches of 
  rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.1 to 0.5 inches 
  are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing. 
  Numerous reports of flooding on area roadways has been reported by 
  EMA officials.

  HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by runoff from previous
           rainfall.

  SOURCE...Radar.

  IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban
           areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as
           other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
  Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, Scottsboro, Hartselle, Fort Payne, 
  Rainsville, Bridgeport, Moores Mill, Meridianville, Redstone 
  Arsenal, Hazel Green, Priceville, Henagar, Stevenson, Crossville, 
  Sylvania, Owens Cross Roads, Falkville and Fyffe.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood 
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the 
dangers of flooding.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
