The National Weather Service in Charleston has issued a

* Tornado Warning for portions of...
  Beaufort County in southeastern South Carolina...
  Jasper County in southeastern South Carolina...

* Until 1145 AM EST.

* At 1106 AM EST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a 
  tornado was located near Bluffton, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...Tornado.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated rotation.

  IMPACT...Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught
           without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or
           destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows and vehicles will
           occur. Tree damage is likely.

* Locations impacted include...
  Hilton Head Island, Bluffton, Bellinger Hill Area, Forest Beach, 
  Harbortown, Calibogue Cay, Daufuskie Island, Sea Pines, Lawton and 
  Brighton Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a well-built 
building away from windows. If you are outdoors, in a mobile home, 
or in a vehicle, move to the closest substantial shelter and protect 
yourself from flying debris.

Report severe weather to your nearest law enforcement agency or the 
National Weather Service office in Charleston SC.
