Patchy fog is developing across portions of the northern Virginia
piedmont and foothills. The fog may be locally dense with
visibility less than one quarter of a mile. This fog should be
brief, perhaps lasting until 4 AM. Until then, motorists should be
prepared for reductions in visibility. Slow down and use low beam
headlights when encountering dense fog.
