Strong west-northwest winds will continue to affect portions of 
Lubbock and Hockley Counties as a local enhancement of winds 
occurs ahead of a southward moving cold front. Sustained winds of
25 to 40 mph with gusts up to 55 mph are likely across the region
through 2 PM. Localized areas of blowing dust may also result in 
reduced visibility.
