Temperatures for the period averaged 45 degrees across the state which was 10 degrees warmer than normal
. High temperatures averaged from 53 in the West to 55 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 6 degrees warmer than normal in the West
to 8 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 36 degrees in the West
to 37 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 9 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 13 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 76 at BOONEVILLE 2S and the extreme low was 12 at BURLINGTON 4S.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 4.69 inches statewide which was 2.79 inches above normal
and 247% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 5.98 inches, Central 5.16 inches,
Bluegrass 4.12 inches and East 3.49 inches, which was 3.89, 3.09, 2.48 and 1.7 inches above normal.
By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 2.57 inches at BIG SANDY to a high of 8.48
inches at MURRAY 1W.
