Temperatures for the period averaged 77 degrees across the state which was 4 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 88 in the West to 85 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 69 degrees in the West to 65 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 5 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 6 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 98 at CAPE GIRARDEAU ASOS and the extreme low was 36 at SHELBYVILLE 10W.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 9.27 inches statewide which was 0.4 inches above normal and 105% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 10.07 inches, Central 9.86 inches, Bluegrass 8.52 inches and East 8.63 inches, which was 1.37, 0.89, -0.24 and -0.41 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 3.43 inches at MONTICELLO AWOS to a high of 16.61 inches at STANFORD 4NE.
