Temperatures for the period averaged 39 degrees across the state which was 4 degrees warmer than normal
. High temperatures averaged from 46 in the West to 48 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West
to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 32 degrees in the West
to 32 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 6 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 8 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 87 at PEABODY and the extreme low was -9 at BURLINGTON 4S.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 13.25 inches statewide which was 5.77 inches above normal
and 177% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 14.10 inches, Central 14.17 inches,
Bluegrass 11.76 inches and East 12.96 inches, which was 6.08, 6.1, 5.28 and 5.6 inches above normal.
By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 8.86 inches at TRIANGLE MOUNTAIN to a high of 18.34
inches at ALBANY 1N.
