Temperatures for the period averaged 38 degrees across the state which was 4 degrees warmer than normal and 2 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 46 in the West to 48 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 30 degrees in the West to 30 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 7 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 76 degrees at BOONEVILLE 2S and the extreme low was -9 degrees at BURLINGTON 4S.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 7.23 inches statewide which was 3.6 inches above normal and 199% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 8.43 inches, Central 7.73 inches, Bluegrass 6.54 inches and East 6.24 inches, which was 4.5, 3.81, 3.4 and 2.71 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 4.67 inches at TRIANGLE MOUNTAIN to a high of 11.58 inches at MURRAY 1W.
