Temperatures for the period averaged 49 degrees across the state which was 3 degrees cooler than normal and 2 degrees warmer than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 59 in the West to 59 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 7 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 6 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 41 degrees in the West to 39 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 2 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 86 degrees at LOUISA 1S and the extreme low was 16 degrees at CYNTHIANA 8N.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 6.05 inches statewide which was 1.72 inches above normal and 140% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 5.49 inches, Central 6.31 inches, Bluegrass 6.14 inches and East 6.25 inches, which was 0.7, 1.82, 2.22 and 2.12 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 3.75 inches at MIDDLESBORO AWOS to a high of 10.75 inches at WHITLEY CITY 3N.
