Temperatures for the period averaged 57 degrees across the state which was 22 degrees warmer than normal and 4 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 70 in the West to 71 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 25 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 27 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 44 degrees in the West to 44 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 17 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 20 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 75 degrees at ALBANY 1N and the extreme low was 23 degrees at BURLINGTON 4S.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 12.51 inches statewide which was 8.98 inches above normal and 354% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 12.38 inches, Central 12.66 inches, Bluegrass 12.23 inches and East 12.79 inches, which was 9.01, 8.81, 8.94 and 9.17 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 11.29 inches at MONTICELLO AWOS to a high of 14.52 inches at ELIZABETHTOWN 8W.
