High temperatures averaged from 42 in the West to 40 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 2 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 4 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 29 degrees in the West to 26 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 1 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 68 degrees at WHITESBURG 2NW and the extreme low was -10 degrees at CYNTHIANA 8N.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 3.01 inches statewide which was 0.41 inches above normal and 116% of normal.
