Temperatures for the period averaged 44 degrees across the state which was 5 degrees cooler than normal and 22 degrees cooler than the previous period. High temperatures averaged from 50 in the West to 54 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 11 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 7 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 37 degrees in the West to 38 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 3 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 77 degrees at BOONEVILLE 2S and the extreme low was 0 degrees at MONTICELLO AWOS.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 5.12 inches statewide which was 2.6 inches above normal and 203% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 5.61 inches, Central 5.24 inches, Bluegrass 5.39 inches and East 4.23 inches, which was 2.69, 2.6, 3.16 and 1.93 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 2.52 inches at BOWLING GREEN 4E to a high of 8.63 inches at GREENVILLE 6N.
