Temperatures for the period averaged 52 degrees across the state which was 2 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 60 in the West to 60 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 1 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 44 degrees in the West to 44 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 7 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 109 at LA GRANGE 6NW and the extreme low was -9 at BURLINGTON 4S.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 31.95 inches statewide which was 9.8 inches above normal and 144% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 30.72 inches, Central 32.59 inches, Bluegrass 32.94 inches and East 31.57 inches, which was 7.08, 8.94, 13.16 and 10.06 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 23.75 inches at OWENSBORO AWSS to a high of 39.58 inches at WHITLEY CITY 3N.
