Temperatures for the period averaged 44 degrees across the state which was 1 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 52 in the West to 53 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 2 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 1 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 36 degrees in the West to 36 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 6 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 109 at LA GRANGE 6NW and the extreme low was -9 at BURLINGTON 4S.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 32.86 inches statewide which was 8.81 inches above normal and 137% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 35.22 inches, Central 34.45 inches, Bluegrass 30.51 inches and East 31.24 inches, which was 8.73, 8.93, 9.32 and 8.23 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 21.41 inches at TRIANGLE MOUNTAIN to a high of 42.81 inches at MURRAY 1W.
