Temperatures for the period averaged 70 degrees across the state which was 2 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 82 in the West to 80 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 61 degrees in the West to 58 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 112 at MCKEE 5S and the extreme low was 0 at HAZARD AWOS.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 23.13 inches statewide which was 0.54 inches below normal and 98% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 26.34 inches, Central 24.70 inches, Bluegrass 20.23 inches and East 21.24 inches, which was 3.14, 0.41, -2.80 and -2.93 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 14.18 inches at WILLIAMSBURG AWOS to a high of 31.52 inches at GREENVILLE 6N.
