Temperatures for the period averaged 46 degrees across the state which was 2 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 56 in the West to 56 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 2 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 37 degrees in the West to 35 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 2 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 95 at BOWLING GREEN APT and the extreme low was -13 at OWINGSVILLE 4S.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 27.29 inches statewide which was 4 inches above normal and 117% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 30.85 inches, Central 30.62 inches, Bluegrass 25.36 inches and East 22.33 inches, which was 7.01, 5.85, 3.65 and -0.52 inches respectively from normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 11.31 inches at HAZARD AWOS to a high of 38.41 inches at MURRAY 1W.
