. High temperatures averaged from 59 in the West to 59 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 1 degrees cooler than normal in the West
to 1 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 43 degrees in the West
to 43 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 7 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 109 at LA GRANGE 6NW and the extreme low was -9 at BURLINGTON 4S.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 33.89 inches statewide which was 11.69 inches above normal
and 153% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 32.62 inches, Central 34.61 inches,
Bluegrass 34.18 inches and East 34.16 inches, which was 8.78, 10.87, 14.44 and 12.69 inches above normal.
