Temperatures for the period averaged 42 degrees across the state which was 1 degrees warmer than normal . High temperatures averaged from 49 in the West to 50 in the East. Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 3 degrees cooler than normal in the West to 2 degrees cooler than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 35 degrees in the West to 34 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 3 degrees warmer than normal in the West to 5 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period was 109 at LA GRANGE 6NW and the extreme low was -9 at BURLINGTON 4S.

Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 21.24 inches statewide which was 5.89 inches above normal and 138% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 22.40 inches, Central 21.97 inches, Bluegrass 20.13 inches and East 20.47 inches, which was 5.46, 5.59, 6.74 and 5.79 inches above normal. By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 13.88 inches at TRIANGLE MOUNTAIN to a high of 26.76 inches at WHITLEY CITY 3N.
