Temperatures for the period averaged 61 degrees across the state which was 5 degrees warmer than normal
. High temperatures averaged from 73 in the West to 71 in the East.
Departure from normal high temperatures ranged from 4 degrees warmer than normal in the West
to 3 degrees warmer than normal in the East. Low temperatures averaged from 51 degrees in the West
to 50 degrees in the East. Departure from normal low temperature ranged from 6 degrees warmer than normal
in the West to 9 degrees warmer than normal in the East. The extreme high temperature for the period
was 100 at MCDANIELS 3N and the extreme low was 26 at BURKESVILLE 3W.
Precipitation (liq. equ.) for the period totaled 9.12 inches statewide which was 2.3 inches above normal
and 134% of normal. Precipitation totals by climate division, West 10.60 inches, Central 9.79 inches,
Bluegrass 8.90 inches and East 7.19 inches, which was 3.15, 2.66, 2.68 and 0.71 inches above normal.
By station, precipitation totals ranged from a low of 4.75 inches at WHITLEY CITY 3N to a high of 15.77
inches at CALHOUN 5NW.
