About these graphs...

The National Climate Data Center now provides an archive of Kentucky and National climate data on their World Wide Web. In addition, they also provide the capability to graph Kentucky and other state's data by individual station and climate division. For this reason, the Ag Weather Center will only update the current year's graphs on our web site. If to be used for legal purposes...USE THE NCDC DATA AND GRAPHS. NCDC IS the final authority for ALL climate data in the U.S.

Graphs of Kentucky monthly temperature and rainfall departures for the current year are provided as an educational and information resource from the College of Agriculture's Ag. Weather Center (AWC) in the Department of Biosystems and Agricultural Engineering.

The graphs are updated at the end of each month and are comprised of data from the Agricultural Weather Stations, First-order (NWS Offices) weather stations, and Cooperative Climate Stations that report electronically (ROSA Stations) in Kentucky. Several months (2 to 3 months) pass before all weather stations data are available from the National Climate Data Center (NCDC).
