Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in Wyoming

Across Wyoming...temperatures are near 30 degrees north, near 31 degrees central, and near 34 degrees south. Current sky conditions are fair north, fair central, and fair south. In the north, relative humidity is near 69%, and the dew point is near 21 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 19 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 43%, and the dew point is near 14 degrees. Winds are from the north at 6 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 24 degrees north. Winds are from the west at 5 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. The wind chill is near 26 degrees central. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 39 degrees at DOUGLAS. The lowest temperature is 26 degrees at LK YELLOWSTONE.

   Winter Weather Advisory in Effect Today for Many of the Western 
Wyoming Mountain Ranges  

This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Western and Central Wyoming.

 DAY ONE  Today and tonight.

Snow in the western mountains and valleys. A brief period
of moderate to heavy snow could occur in Sweetwater County late 
afternoon and early evening. Strong wind likely around Red Canyon 
and the south side of Casper.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Friday through Wednesday.

Saturday through Sunday Night  Unsettled and cooler with rain and 
snow likely. Confidence in the timing and placement of the heaviest 
precipitation remains low at this time.

conditions according to Standard Operating Procedures.

The worst tornado disaster of record occurred in Chicago IL as a tornado
killed 28 persons and caused three million dollars damage. (David Ludlum)
...1997...
Ten tornadoes tore across the area, affecting the Kentucky counties of 
Adair, Metcalfe, Casey, Green, Larue, Marion, Hardin, Hart, Nelson, and 
Russell; and the Indiana counties of Scott and Jefferson. Two of the 
twisters produced F3 damage. A 28-year-old woman was killed in Metcalfe 
County as she was thrown from her destroyed mobile home. A 40-year-old man 
was killed when his house in Bonnieville (Hart County) was hit by one of 
the F3 tornadoes and blown off its foundation. This tornado injured many 
people when it caused several car accidents as it crossed Interstate 65.
