Current sky conditions are cloudy north, partly cloudy central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 53%, and the dew point is near 30 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 35%, and the dew point is near 18 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 32%, and the dew point is near 15 degrees. The livestock heat stress category is no stress north, no stress central, and no stress south. Winds are from the northwest at 24 mph with gusts at 38 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the west at 29 mph with gusts at 45 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. DAY ONE Rest of Today and Tonight. Snow continues across the northwest mountains through this evening. A northerly surge of snow and cooler air arrives from the north later tonight. This will allow for snow to steadily increase in the Bighorn Range and northwest mountains later tonight. West to northwest wind gusting 35 to 45 mph persists across the lower elevations through sunset. DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN Wednesday through Monday. Wednesday and Thursday Another round of precipitation moves north-to-south through the state with widespread rain and snow. The heaviest snow will be across the northern mountains Wednesday, and eventually the east slopes of the Wind River Range later Wednesday and Wednesday night. The precipitation decreases Thursday afternoon and night. Breezy, with west to northwest wind switches to the north during the day Wednesday.
