Across West Virginia...temperatures are near 41 degrees north, near 49 degrees central, and near 41 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, fair central, and fair south. In the north, relative humidity is near 41%, and the dew point is near 19 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 25%, and the dew point is near 15 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 33%, and the dew point is near 14 degrees. Winds are from the north at 13 mph north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the northwest at 14 mph with gusts at 23 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. A vicious tornado hit the city of Omaha NE. The tornado struck during the
late afternoon on Easter Sunday, and in just twelve minutes cut a swath of
total destruction five miles long and two blocks wide across the city
killing 94 persons and causing 3.5 million dollars property damage. (David
