.FORECAST SUMMARY...

A cold front will slowly travel southeast across the region today
into tonight and reach South Carolina Wednesday morning. High
pressure will build east into our area Wednesday afternoon and be
centered overhead Wednesday night into Thursday. This high center
will stay Thursday into Friday before another cold front brings a
return of rainfall to the region Friday night into Saturday.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 56 degrees central and near CLOUDY degrees south. Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy central and rapids south. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 66%, and the dew point is near 68 degrees. Winds are unavailable north. north, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to notavbl. Winds are from the north at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are south, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to rapids. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 56 degrees at Richmond and Fredericksburg. The lowest temperature is CLOUDY degrees at Roanoke and Danville.

The temperature in Downtown San Francisco soared to 101 degrees to equal

A family of tornadoes and downbursts moved over a 45 mile long path from 
Warren County through Edmonson County into Hart County. Two homes near 
Bowling Green were blown into the Barren River. A hotel was torn apart at

An unlikely winter-like storm produced as much as ten inches of snow in
Minnesota and Iowa.

Ten cities in the southeastern U.S. reported record low temperatures for

parts of the central U.S. Lightning struck a bull and six cows under a tree
