Dry weather is expected today with warm weather and sunny skies.
A wedge of high pressure builds in by Friday morning, bringing
clouds, lower temperatures, and a low chance for showers in the
mountains through Saturday. Sunday into the beginning of next
week look especially warm, with shower chances returning
Tuesday.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 60 degrees north, near 59 degrees central, and near 72 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly sunny north, cloudy central, and mostly sunny south. In the north, relative humidity is near 49%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 64%, and the dew point is near 47 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 35%, and the dew point is near 43 degrees. Winds are from the east at 8 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 12 mph with gusts at 18 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 72 degrees at Danville. The lowest temperature is NOT degrees at Roanoke.
