.FORECAST SUMMARY...
A surface low over the great lakes will move east, with a weak
cold front crossing the central appalachians late tonight. Most
of the shower and thunderstorm activity with this feature will
remain to our north. A dry day is expected Thursday with post
frontal northwesterly winds. Another, much stronger front will
cross our area Friday bringing some showers and storms, followed
by cooler weather for the weekend.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 67 degrees north, near 73 degrees central, and near 72 degrees south. Current sky conditions are partly cloudy north, cloudy central, and cloudy south. In the north, relative humidity is near 72%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 59 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 8 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southwest at 12 mph with gusts at 21 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southwest at 6 mph south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 75 degrees at Norfolk. The lowest temperature is MOCLDY degrees at Roanoke.
