Cool high pressure will build into the region through tonight. 
Temperatures will start to moderate heading into the middle of 
the week with the approach of a cold front. This front is 
expected to cross our region on Wednesday with scattered showers
mainly across the mountains.

Across Virginia...temperatures are near 36 degrees north, near 39 degrees central, and near 34 degrees south. Current sky conditions are clear north, clear central, and clear south. In the north, relative humidity is near 85%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 82%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the south, relative humidity is near 92%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. Winds are from the west at 3 mph north, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the south at 3 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm south, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 45 degrees at Washington DC. The lowest temperature is CLEAR degrees at Roanoke.
