Due to continuance of ridging influences surface and aloft, dry
conditions with just some passing clouds here and there will be
in store for mid state region through Thursday afternoon. With
a predominance of lower level atmospheric southerly flow,
unseasonably warm temperatures are expected to continue. Lows
tonight will be seasonably mild ranging upper 50s to lower 60s,
mid 50s Cumberland Plateau Region. Highs on Thursday might even
be a degree or two warmer than today with highs mid to upper 80s,
maybe even approaching in a few spots the 90 degree mark across
the Nashville Metro Area, with lower 80s across Cumberland Plateau
Region.

Across Tennessee...temperatures are near 86 degrees west and near 85 degrees central. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny west and mostly sunny central. In the west, relative humidity is near 42%, and the dew point is near 61 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 38%, and the dew point is near 57 degrees. The livestock heat stress category is no stress west, no stress central, and unavailable east. Winds are from the south at 7 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 5 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are unavailable east. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 88 degrees at Memphis NWS. The lowest temperature is 84 degrees at Savannah, Paris, Lexington, Huntingdon, and Clarksville.
