Another cool down is then forecasted for the remainder of the 
work week. High temperatures will struggle to rise above freezing
Thursday and Friday. Medium to high chances for accumulating snow
will cross the region from northwest to southeast Wednesday night
through Thursday, with a continued cool and active pattern into 
the weekend. For Saturday through Sunday, snow is likely for most 
locations.

Across South Dakota...temperatures are near 47 degrees west, near 48 degrees central, and near 39 degrees east. Current sky conditions are not available west, clear central, and partly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 47%, and the dew point is near 28 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 34%, and the dew point is near 21 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 26%, and the dew point is near 7 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 8 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to not available. Winds are from the west at 13 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southwest at 13 mph with gusts at 22 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. The grassland fire danger will be in the very high category today.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Tuesday through Sunday

Colder and unsettled weather will gradually develop late this week
and especially over the weekend. Chances for light rain and snow
will increase late this week, with the best chances for mostly 
snow likely arriving over the weekend. Accumulating snow is 
possible over the weekend, with some potential impacts to travel.
