A few rounds of precipitation is expected to then develop this evening and Sunday, expected to fall only as rain. In fact, showers will be likely over the eastern half of the region. Thunderstorms will also be possible over the eastern Dakotas and Minnesota Sunday afternoon and evening. Rain showers will linger over the eastern Dakotas and Minnesota into Monday while western portions of the region dry out.
