Another chilly late-April morning across Pennsylvania with areas 
of frost. 

Sensible weather conditions will quickly turn breezy and milder
today with increasing clouds through the afternoon. Rain is 
forecast to arrive across northwest Pennsylvania during the late 
evening. High temperatures will range from around 60 degrees in 
the northern Alleghenies to 70 degrees in the southern valleys. 

Clouds and periods of rain showers will bring a cooldown to the 
Commonwealth on Wednesday with high temperatures in the mid 40s in
Erie to the upper 60s near Philadelphia. 

No rainfall is expected Thursday and Friday. However, there will 
be a renewed risk of frost freeze conditions in the morning. A 
couple of showers and a thunderstorm are possible for the last 
weekend of April, but it does not look like a washout. 
Temperatures will spike on Sunday into the 70 to 80 degree range 
with more noticeable humidity.

Across Pennsylvania...temperatures are near 43 degrees west, near 37 degrees central, and near 43 degrees east. Current sky conditions are mostly cloudy west, clear central, and partly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 55%, and the dew point is near 28 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 65%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 82%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. Winds are coming from the south at 9 mph in the west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm in the central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm in the east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 51 degrees at Erie. The lowest temperature is 32 degrees at Mount Pocono.
