Periods of rain and a couple of thunderstorms are expected across
Pennsylvania into the evening hours tonight. A few thunderstorms 
may reach severe limits and produce locally heavy rainfall across 
the western and central portions of the Keystone State later this
evening. Low temperatures overnight will range from the mid 40s 
in the northeast to the mid 50s everywhere else. 

Early day clouds, light rain, and drizzle over the central and 
eastern parts of the Commonwealth in the early morning hours will
give way to a mostly cloudy and warmer day on Thursday with a chance
of an isolated rain showers during the afternoon across the
Susquehanna Valley region. High temperatures on Thursday will 
range from the upper 40s in the extreme northeast corner of 
Pennsylvania to the lower 70s in southern portions of 
Pennsylvania. Low temperatures overnight will range from the lower
40s in the east to the lower 50s in the west.

Another round of rain will arrive on Friday around mid day in the
west then spreading east through the evening hours. Once the rain
clears the state a cool down and drying trend follows over the 
weekend. Chilly nights are forecast on Saturday and Sunday with 
minimum temperatures cold enough to pose a frost and freeze risk 
for exposed plants.

Across Pennsylvania...temperatures are near 60 degrees west, near 56 degrees central, and near 55 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, rain central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 89%, and the dew point is near 57 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 100%, and the dew point is near 56 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 50 degrees. Winds are coming from the south at 6 mph in the west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are calm in the central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to rain. Winds are coming from the east at 14 mph in the east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 62 degrees at Beaver County. The lowest temperature is 45 degrees at Mount Pocono.
