Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
545 PM EDT Thu Mar 28 2024

A shield of clouds and a few sprinkles will persist through the
evening across far eastern Pennsylvania as a coastal low moves
away from the Mid Atlantic. Farther to the west, mostly sunny
skies this evening will give way to increasing clouds after
midnight. A weak area of low pressure diving across the Ohio
Valley could bring a stray sprinkle or light snow shower into the
extreme southwest corner of the state tonight, while fair weather
prevails elsewhere. Low temperatures tonight will range from the
upper 20s over the northern mountains to the upper 30s in
Philadelphia.

Friday will be breezy across much of the Commonwealth, especially
eastern and central Pennsylvania, where gusts of 25 to 40 mph are
expected. Skies will range from mostly sunny in the south to
partly cloudy in the northern tier. High temperatures will range
from the mid 40s over the northern mountains, to the mid 50s in
the southern valleys.

A weak system will bring a period of light to moderate rain across
mainly the western two thirds of Pennsylvania on Saturday.
