Regional Weather Summary
National Weather Service State College PA
450 AM EDT Tue Apr 23 2024

Another chilly late-April morning across Pennsylvania with areas
of frost.

Sensible weather conditions will quickly turn breezy and milder
today with increasing clouds through the afternoon. Rain is
forecast to arrive across northwest Pennsylvania during the late
evening. High temperatures will range from around 60 degrees in
the northern Alleghenies to 70 degrees in the southern valleys.

Clouds and periods of rain showers will bring a cooldown to the
Commonwealth on Wednesday with high temperatures in the mid 40s in
Erie to the upper 60s near Philadelphia.

No rainfall is expected Thursday and Friday. However, there will
be a renewed risk of frost freeze conditions in the morning. A
couple of showers and a thunderstorm are possible for the last
weekend of April, but it does not look like a washout.
Temperatures will spike on Sunday into the 70 to 80 degree range
with more noticeable humidity.
