High pressure will quickly pass across our region tonight, with
fair weather. A cold front will move east across the area 
Friday, bringing another round of gusty showers to the region. 
There will be one more round of scattered showers Saturday 
afternoon, then dry weather will return for Sunday. The weekend 
will be quite cool with a stretch of below average temperatures.

Across New York...temperatures are near 50 degrees west, near 48 degrees central, and near 47 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, drizzle central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 80%, and the dew point is near 44 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 96%, and the dew point is near 47 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 39 degrees. There is patchy fog central. Winds are coming from the southwest at 10 mph in the west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are coming from the northeast at 6 mph in the central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to drizzle. Winds are coming from the northeast at 17 mph in the east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 60 degrees at Elmira. The lowest temperature is 44 degrees at Plattsburgh.
