A cold front will move east across the area today, bringing another 
round of gusty showers to the region. There will be one more round 
of scattered showers Saturday afternoon, then dry weather will 
return for Sunday. The weekend will be quite cool with a stretch of 
below average temperatures.

Across New York...temperatures are near 55 degrees west, near 51 degrees central, and near 50 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light rain west, partly sunny central, and partly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 48 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 83%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 63%, and the dew point is near 38 degrees. Winds are coming from the southeast at 13 mph in the west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are coming from the southeast at 15 mph in the central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are coming from the northeast at 6 mph in the east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 60 degrees at Dunkirk. The lowest temperature is 44 degrees at Binghamton.
