Scattered snow showers persist across the region this afternoon
along with strong northwest winds. Todays high temperatures will 
only be in the mid 30s to mid 40s. Conditions improve through the 
weekend, with warming temperatures, decreasing winds, and overall 
dry conditions. Rain chances return to the forecast late Sunday 
night through Monday, with temperatures back to near average, in 
the lower 50s to lower 60s.

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 24 degrees west, near 27 degrees central, and near 33 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light snow west, flurries central, and cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 18 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 69%, and the dew point is near 18 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 53%, and the dew point is near 18 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 25 mph with gusts at 36 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light snow. The wind chill is near 8 degrees west. Winds are from the northwest at 21 mph with gusts at 36 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and flurries. The wind chill is near 13 degrees central. Winds are from the west at 21 mph with gusts at 31 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 33 degrees at YANKTON and GRND FRKS AFB. The lowest temperature is 24 degrees at WILLISTON and DICKINSON.

evening. These snow showers will briefly but suddenly reduce
