Scattered snow showers persist across the region this afternoon
along with strong northwest winds. Todays high temperatures will 
only be in the mid 30s to mid 40s. Conditions improve through the 
weekend, with warming temperatures, decreasing winds, and overall 
dry conditions. Rain chances return to the forecast late Sunday 
night through Monday, with temperatures back to near average, in 
the lower 50s to lower 60s.

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 26 degrees west, near 30 degrees central, and near 34 degrees east. Current sky conditions are light snow west, cloudy central, and flurries east. In the west, relative humidity is near 77%, and the dew point is near 20 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 18 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 56%, and the dew point is near 20 degrees. Winds are from the northwest at 24 mph with gusts at 33 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light snow. The wind chill is near 11 degrees west. Winds are from the northwest at 24 mph with gusts at 35 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. The wind chill is near 16 degrees central. Winds are from the west at 20 mph with gusts at 31 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and flurries. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 34 degrees at YANKTON. The lowest temperature is LGT degrees at GRAND FORKS.

evening. These snow showers will briefly but suddenly reduce
