Scattered showers and thunderstorms continue across western South
Dakota and parts of southern and eastern North Dakota tonight. 
These showers and thunderstorms will continue overnight through 
Tuesday evening. 

Wednesday through the end of the work week will see significantly 
cooler temperatures below seasonal averages. Chances for light 
rain will also linger through the end of the work week. Northern 
portions of the region may even see periods of light snow at 
times.

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 49 degrees west, near 47 degrees central, and near 58 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, light rain central, and mostly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 49%, and the dew point is near 31 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 80%, and the dew point is near 41 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 30%, and the dew point is near 27 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 18 mph with gusts at 35 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the east at 16 mph central, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds and light rain. Winds are from the east at 17 mph with gusts at 26 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 58 degrees at YANKTON. The lowest temperature is CLOUDY degrees at GRAND FORKS.
