Widespread highs in the 70s are expected today, with increasing 
chances for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into 
tonight. An isolated strong storm is possible, mainly in western 
South Dakota. The weather will then trend cooler for the end of 
the work week and into the weekend, with continued decent chances 
for measurable rainfall Friday through Sunday for most areas.

Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in North Dakota
Based on observations at 800am CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 47 degrees west, near 49 degrees central, and near 56 degrees east. Current sky conditions are sunny west, sunny central, and mostly sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 60%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 61%, and the dew point is near 36 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 40%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 13 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are from the southeast at 7 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 15 mph with gusts at 28 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 56 degrees at YANKTON. The lowest temperature is 39 degrees at HETTINGER ARPT and DICKINSON.
