Widespread highs in the 70s are expected today, with increasing 
chances for showers and thunderstorms this afternoon into 
tonight. An isolated strong storm is possible, mainly in western 
South Dakota. The weather will then trend cooler for the end of 
the work week and into the weekend, with continued decent chances 
for measurable rainfall Friday through Sunday for most areas.

Current Agricultural Weather Conditions in North Dakota
Based on observations at 700am CDT, Thursday April 25, 2024

Across North Dakota...temperatures are near 42 degrees west, near 46 degrees central, and near 52 degrees east. Current sky conditions are clear west, partly cloudy central, and partly cloudy east. In the west, relative humidity is near 70%, and the dew point is near 33 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 62%, and the dew point is near 34 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 46%, and the dew point is near 32 degrees. Winds are from the southeast at 9 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 8 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 16 mph with gusts at 28 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 52 degrees at YANKTON. The lowest temperature is 30 degrees at HETTINGER ARPT.
