Across North Carolina...temperatures are near 54 degrees west, near 63 degrees central, and near 57 degrees east. Current sky conditions are cloudy west, cloudy central, and clear east. In the west, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 67%, and the dew point is near 52 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 93%, and the dew point is near 55 degrees. Winds are from the south at 6 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the southeast at 9 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 6 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 65 degrees at Fort Bragg. The lowest temperature is 52 degrees at Elizabeth City.

produced the first April thunderstorm of record at Fairbanks. Pea size hail
fell northeast of Fairbanks from thunderstorms whose tops were less than

Severe thunderstorms associated with an intense cyclone spawned a total of
forty-seven tornadoes in two days from Louisiana to Upper Michigan. The
