Across North Carolina...temperatures are near 81 degrees west, near 84 degrees central, and near 68 degrees east. Current sky conditions are mostly sunny west, mostly sunny central, and clear east. In the west, relative humidity is near 28%, and the dew point is near 45 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 26%, and the dew point is near 46 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 75%, and the dew point is near 60 degrees. Winds are from the southwest at 5 mph west, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 3 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the east at 5 mph with gusts at 18 mph east, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 87 degrees at Morganton. The lowest temperature is 60 degrees at Manteo.
