Across North Carolina...temperatures are near 76 degrees west, near 71 degrees central, and near 62 degrees east. Current sky conditions are partly sunny west, partly sunny central, and sunny east. In the west, relative humidity is near 53%, and the dew point is near 58 degrees. In the central part of the state, relative humidity is near 68%, and the dew point is near 60 degrees. In the east, relative humidity is near 74%, and the dew point is near 54 degrees. Winds are from the north at 8 mph with gusts at 17 mph west, where conditions are not favorable for spraying due to strong winds. Winds are variable at 5 mph central, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Winds are from the northeast at 8 mph east, where conditions are favorable for spraying. Based on current available observations, the highest temperature is 84 degrees at Charlotte. The lowest temperature is 55 degrees at Manteo.

Scattered showers and thunderstorms will move across the area this
afternoon and evening, with a few possibly strong to severe. The 
main hazards will be damaging winds, large hail, and cloud-to-ground
lightning.

 DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN  Saturday through Thursday.
